okay i shall attempt to save my dead blog :D

just realised something really interesting yesterday night.
when charlene talked to me.
SHE WAS AT SERIMBUM SCOUT CAMP WHILE I WAS AT CAMP CHRISTINE!
the camps are next to each other.
how cool is that!
hahahahhaha.

and i realised.
the group of people we saw kayaking on tuesday,
while we were about to die from OJ,
while they were having a whole lot of fun..
char was among them!

thats seriously cooooooool okayyyy ~
didnt realise till now omggg.

hehe quite unbelievable right.

went for cleanup and initiatives yesterday.
was quite okay lah..
cleaned up the styrofoam boxes etc etc then had foot drills.
after that had patrol corner then lunch.
finally went to the home team @ NS for the air weapon shooting course.

did air pistol.
was quite funnnn haha.
except for the fact that my arm's aching now.

managed to get a pretty good score on the card i submitted.
29! :D

xiaoqi got bulls eye lah omg.
jealous shit can!

played around and shot all of the remaining pellets coz i was in the second batch.
feel like going back there again.

haha im back with more atc stuff.

okay so first day we jihed then went to camp christine .
its really some ulu ulu camp in the middle of nowhere.
wanna escape also cannot!
and the night before mummy went to search up the location of camp christine.
and had to tell me that thr were three cemeteries surrounding it.

hmm arrived.
then had camp development.
pitch tents etc etc.
initially was still super blur and didnt exactly adapt to the fact that i was in the
GUIDES ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP yet.
then moved quite slowly and all..

after that we lunched then had camp development part two.
then it started raining so i think we ended up having patrol corner.
was quite cool lol.
our two counsellors told us their PLTC experiences hahahah.
and they kept hinting and reminding us stuff o.o

after that had dinner.
then treasure hunt..
which was actually PT in disguise.
it was quite alright lah i suppose :/

then NIGHT GAMES!
hahahahah.
quite interesting except for the fact that we had to huddle together to walk and that really got on my nerves.
movement was like super restricted -.-

i kept wanting to laugh at the stations okay.
but had to bite my lip to prevent myself from doing so.
or else there'd be points deducted ):
i could see irene grinning away in the dark at one of the stations also hehe.

now,
i shall hereby give a round of applause to the seniors for their actings!
it was damn cool okay.
cant imagine myself doing that two years down the road.
i seriously think i'd just burst out laughing if i had to act like that~

was super tired after the first day.
then had supper at like 12am or sth.
michelle was so tired that she accidentally poured milo into a cup till it overflowed.
wow.

lay a poncho on the ground.
used my sleeping bag as a pillow and promptly fell asleep.
it was freezing throughout the night.

the next day i woke up like an hour earlier.
yimin woke me -.-

then went to brush teeth.
that was the only time i did that throughout the three-day camp.
gross i know but hahhahahha its the truth :)

somehow time past really fast and it was 7 alr.
jihe-d and had morning PT.
thr was this commando crawl thing.
which didnt turn out successful because both sides didnt coordinate then my side had to turn back.
i was one of the lucky ones who had to crawl on the rocky rocky pavement.
and smart me scraped my elbow again.

had to apply some antiseptic cream which helped! hahahha.

after that had inspection.
was pretty much like pre-camp inspection with all the physical stuff etc etc.

mass changed then had outdoor cooking.
helped yimin with the starting of fire and all.
hahahahha quite fun :)

our dessert turned out super gross looking
so we changed it on the spot LOL.
lunch was salty but nice, considering that we cooked it ourselves haha.

after lunch had OJ.

quite okay i suppose..
i like the elevation station!
its nice proving seniors wrong >)

after that had dinner and then bath time and then campfire!

haha campfire was quite cool.
but seriously.. wasnt that successful.
like, it wasnt exactly like very funny/engaging/interesting/high.
was far from what i expected.

our skit got cut short quite alot coz we didnt bring the script heh.

then after that we had this mini barbeque.
which was cool lah haha :)
th sausages and marshmallows and melted chocolate was niceee!

after that had orderlies duty.
which technically meant cleaning up.
then me deborah and yimin had to carry the garbage bags into this giant bin
OUTSIDE camp christine.
while everyone was at their tents getting ready to sleep and all.
doesnt help when yimin started reminding us of the night games
and the seniors hiding in the dark, preparing to scream at us.
hahahahhaha.

then after we went back.
we packed all our stuff.
prepared for night evac.
till eileen came and chased us to sleep lol.

thankfully our patrol was small!
9 of us squeezed into a tent.
while other patrols used BOTH tents.
couldnt stretch my legs without kicking guojun though haha.

damn funny when yiting told us th next morning
that she went to our first tent
then called out to us to come out.
like 'P2 are you inside? can you all please reply?'
then after no reply for quite a long while
then she opened our tent to find that thr was no one inside.
hahahahhahahah :P

hmm night evac was quite expected lah.
some of us were alr awake before they even blew the whistle.
i was semi-conscious haha.
chiong-ed out and jihe-d
then went to get our belongings and flag.

shifted everything to olave hall.
then had morning PT.

running three rounds with our bags wasnt very ideal .
and my stomach muscles totally hurt like shit while we were doing the 40 sit ups.

then had breakfast and patrol corner.
after that was mystery games.
by which we had to do some sort of ding-ing while passing a message.
then wheelbarrow and crabwalk.
was quite okay lah :/
could see the year threes having to mass change during mystery games.
ouch.
then had this whole company game thingy.
which we all had to lie on the ground, facing downwards.
while everyone else rolled over you.
IT WAS SUPER FUN HAHAHA :DDDDD
everyone was like,
'hello xxx hello xxx hello xxx'
whenever someone passed by.
damn cool hahahha.

after that striked tents.
then lunch.
and company games.

company games was fun haha.
we had to do shilianpai in front of our whole patrol and then had to use our mouths to sift through flour to find gummies and answer a math question :D
i breathed in flour during my second turn okay!
hahahahha.
coz it was almost the end and thr were hardly any gummies left!
yiting 'tricked' me into taking an unglam picture lah.
she said that i cant pass the station if i didnt take a picture with my flour covered mouth and gummy sticking out of it.
bleah!

haha after that had this dog and bone cum blow wind blow game
in which my side totally owned the other :)

this signalled the end of atc.
boarded the bus and came back to school for debrief and prize presentation.
a year 5 senior sprayed deodorant at us when we boarded the bus lol!
i fell asleep on th bus back hehe.

overall P2 Panadol got second!

you know seriously that is really really unexpected.
because we were the smallest patrol.
and only had three year 2s for half the camp and four for the other half.
our total manpower was like..
small compared to the others.

think we owe the second position to our year two seniors lol.
if i were them i'd feel proud for being able to get second
even though we had so little people :)

ATC'09 P2 PANADOL FTWWWWWW!

really learned alot in atc.
sense of urgency etc etc..
sounds so cliche but its trueeee!

haha okay seriously i took like 8 hours to write this.
coz i keep getting distracted by other stuff and all.
and i keep getting stuck.

her expression was really really funny!

struck me though.
its gonna be me next year choosing my subject combination.
gotta have to work HARD to get my ideal sub combi manxz :/
and i really have to go and find out what i wanna take.

and zishan, you arent stupid lah haha.
you chose your sub combi based on your interests! :)
so if you have interests you're bound to enjoy it, no matter how stupid it may be.
right?

YAY.

there were really times when i felt as if i was gonna die.
like seriously.
three whole days of physical training,
not knowing whats coming up next.

all i could think about was,
omg run!
omg how much time do we have left!
omg are we gonna finish our task on time!
omg when is this gonna end!
omg did we miss out anything!
omg my legs are breaking!
omg this is pure torture!
omg i feel like falling out!
omg i must persevere!
omg come on P2 Panadol we can do it!

i mean, seriously..
thr was hardly any time for us to really think about other stuff.
i didnt care even if i looked like shit.
or if i smelled like shit.
bathing was pretty useless considering we started sweating immediately after that.

so we went to th kampong arang's wet market to find lah.
